Oysang bridge contains 49 cabins in a circle and is located by the sea. Each cabin has 3 or 4 bedrooms. Some has 3 bedrooms with double beds. 1 bedroom with bunk (one over the other). At the second floor you also find a little living room with sofa's and Color tv. Satellite cables with Astra's programs. A very nice living room with sofa table and chairs. Dinner table and a fireplace. Self catering kitchen with dishwasher. Bathroom with wc, shower and a bath tub. From the living room you enter into the sunny side patio with summer furnisher and a grill. By the seaside you will find an open boat with motor.
In co working with a local fisherman you will be able to take a trip to the Skagerrak ocean to fish. This company has a very nice record, one day over 4 hours fishing a German fisherman took over 500 kg.
Behind the cabins there a some very nice areas with great lakes for outdoors life. Canoes paddling. Fishing or just relaxing. There is also a local farmer that you can rent horses from and he can also take you into the wilderness.
At the city of Risør, called the white swan of Skagerrak you will find a historic city. White buildings and good restaurants. In the summertime a lots of festivals. Fore one of them, the "New York Times" sends a special music reporter because of the quality of the performers and musicians. In august you will find a festival fore wooden boats, a rarity that is seldom seen this days.
All together, the Oysang area is a very nice place to stay and use as a base to see the south of Norway. We will like to point out a very nice golf environments in the Nabors hood. You will have a short hour drive to a water land hotel special equip for kids. In the town of Arendal they arrange the formel 1 fore boats each year. And in the town of Skien the Telemark canal start. Here you can take a pleasant boat trip to Dalen. Narrow canals, Wide fjords and steep Mountains. All in a days trip with the historic boat Victoria, a special build passenger's liner for the Telemark canals.
In the area of Oysang, you will experience the unique quality of the south of Norway and it will give you an itch to come back repeatedly.
Welcome to a pleasant stay in Oysang cabins. Just 5-10 minutes walk from the cabin we have a ferry to take you over the fjord and it is landing in the middle of the city Risør. You can of course use the cabins boat as well.
